In contrast, others were made to eat a protein-rich breakfast consisting of egg whites, cheese, tuna, and milk worth 300 calories.

About four months later, both groups were found to have lost up to 30 pounds per person. Another four months later, which is the study’s maintenance period, the high-protein breakfast group put on an additional 22 pounds, while the dessert breakfast group continued to lose weight. The researchers attributed this effect to the reduced cravings of desserts.

#4 - You Learn to Share
